This cover highlights the article Ezrin, radixin, and moesin are dispensable for macrophage migration and cellular cortex mechanics by Perrine Verdys, Véronique Le Cabec, Sébastien Carréno, Renaud Poincloux and colleagues. This study demonstrates that macrophages deficient for Ezrin, Radixin and Moesin are able to migrate normally and do not exhibit mechanical defects in their cortex. The cover image shows F-actin staining of WT (blue) and ERM-KO (red) macrophages, which reveals that the circularity and spreading area of these cells are comparable.
